    Hi,

    Yesterday, when I tried to start a party with a friend of mine, I was able to hear him clearly but he couldn't hear me. This is despite the Xbox showing I have a headset attached, in the audio settings my mic is on and the headset itself not being muted. The headsets I've tried have been wired.

    This wasn't a problem a month ago. I've tried doing all the troubleshooting: Making sure my NAT was open, resetting my router, making sure my privacy options weren't causing issues, trying multiple controllers (Series X controllers, Elite 2 and the newer Xbox One controllers), connecting the controller to the console, multiple headsets and no luck with anything.

    I'm already annoyed the official wireless headset stopped working only a couple months after the warranty ended, and this is driving me crazy. I spent two hours with my friend trying to work this out, and several more afterwards.

    I've also done port forwarding, added a DMZ for the series x and nothing has worked.

    I've also tried the same headsets on my PS4, my cell phone and my wife's cell phone, and the mics work no problem.

    Please advise me what to do in this situation.

    Disconnect from your current connection.

    Advanced network settings>port selection and switch to another port

    Clean the MAC again, reboot, connect the console to your phone's network as a hotspot, and test party chat again.

    Clean your console's MAC and restart your internet devices.

    Network Settings> Advanced Settings> MAC Address and Clear.

    If the problems persists reset the console to factory defaults, you won't lose anything but you will need to log in with your account again. Email and password are required.

    Follow this path and select reset keeping games and app.

    In 5 to 10 minutes you will finish reconfiguring your console

    To reset the console>

    Settings> System> Console Info> Reset Console
