    Series X headset and pc sound distortion


    I seem to be having an issue with the sound quality on pc with the new wireless series x/s headset. Audio works fine on the console itself, but when trying to use it on pc, all audio comes through distorted and crackling. I isolated sounds solely through discord, games, and notifications and all seem to have the same distortion. Also, i have the latest update installed for the headset as well. Not sure what else to try at this point. Really wanted to be able to use discord while gaming on console but this currently isnt an option, which isnt good since that was the main purpose for purchasing them. Is there maybe something Im missing? Any help is appreciated.

    The product doesn’t work with Xbox it has no problem with PC and sounds good. On the the Xbox series x the quality is very bad a lot of other people have problems with headsets aswell

    The Cloud revolver is a wired headset, the usb dongle is a mini sound card, the headset plugs into it with the 3.5mm connector.

    With my tests it is compatible with PS5 and PC, so I don't understand why the 7.1 is not available on X series.

    The manufacturer's manual gives a compatibility for PC, PS4, Xbox One, Switch and mobile
