Series X gets black screen on startup

    Series X gets black screen on startup


    Woke up this morning to nothing but a blank, black screen. I have tried numerous power cycles and tried to boot into troubleshooting mode with no luck. I get the second chime but still met with a black screen. No idea what to do and feeling like i’ve been outed $500.

    Microsoft haven't said it is. I believe the green Xbox One startup screen will stay, and the Xbox Series X/S will get the new Xbox boot up screen.

    Anyone get the 1.4 patch yet?

    are you clearing the cache at startup? (hold down LB, RB, and X when the screen goes black and do not let go until the Bethesda logo appears)

    Starfield on my Xbox Series keeps crashing.

    Same here.

    Series X. I can't even get into the game. As soon as I try and launch a new game from the title screen I get a black screen and the loading icon freezes. So frustrating.

    Series X does not turn off completely in Energy Saving Mode

    I can confirm I've just tested my Xbox Seried X on both modes and there is no difference between the two at the moment (it doesn't have the startup screen etc)

    I am presuming this is a bug at the moment
