    Series X game DVR captures have desynced audio (enhanced games only)


    I've experienced this problem since launch and have yet to see it on a list of known issues so I don't know if it's being worked on. Basically any Series X enhanced game can have wildly desynced audio on any game captures you take. I have experienced this
    issue with Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, Watch Dogs Legion, Gears Tactics, and Destiny 2, though Destiny 2 did not have this problem until after it's next-gen update.

    The problem happens on about 90% of clips I take from those games and the audio can be off by a few seconds up to sometimes 6 or 7 seconds at times. I have not experienced this problem with games that have not gotten next-gen enhancements, like Cyberpunk
    2077. I have tried every setting for resolution and clip duration and it makes no difference. Please fix...

    just got my series x 2 days a go and my console will randomly freeze then shut off im having texture issues with games that are enhanced and also audio issues

    My name is welcome to the community.

    Hello Froshminn, I don't know how much space you have on your xbox one x internal disc, but this may be happening because of the lack of space the console needs to make the recordings and manage the temporary files of the games it runs.

    In cases like this I suggest you try to connect an external disk on your Xbox that has USB 3.0 and direct all the captures to the external disk, so the console will have no problem swapping inside its internal HARD drive.

    HI,

    This an Xbox One X enhanced game. But to get the enhancement you'll need either a Xbox One X or either one of the newer Series X|S machines. The Series S is a digital only console though.

    On an original Xbox One or One S, it will be the BC 360 game with no enhanced graphics.

    You'll get access to an enhanced version regardless of disc or digital, but you need the right console to be able play the enhanced version.

    I know that Series S can't use the XIX enhancements. I'm asking if the Series X

    Yes, why wouldn't it be? Faster processor, graphics and more RAM (16 GB). I did already state in my previous reply that Series X will play X1X enhanced titles.

    Digital Foundry (a popular YouTube tech channel) have shown a video of Gears 5 running on Series X.

    Not only was Series X running the X1X Gears game, the developer has enhanced it again for Series X.
