Series X & Forza Horizon 4 hangs

I have found an issue with my GamePass FH4 on Series X. The game starts fine and synchonised my save picking up right where i keft off.

I am able to navigate the menus, buy cars, browse cars and interact with them. I can start to drive and everything looks fine but the MOMENT i tough the accelerator to actually drive off the screen goes black and i have to hard exit the game throigh the
guide.

The season is set to winter and sometimes i get an initial snow splash effect on the black screen. But that doesnt fade or change.

I am well advanced in the game so dont want to delete my game and start again, clearly some kind of bug.

The game is installed on internal storage and is up to date, i believe it has upgraded to one x content (but not sure how incan check that).

Forza horizon 4 wont launch for me on series x

Thanks! The weird thing is, this issue only happens with series x games. Forza horizon 4 looks perfect. It’s just the new multiplayer halo and Forza Horizon 5.

I can’t launch Forza horizon 4 on my series X to. Some problems, i guess.

Just in case no has worked this out, try removing the game and reinstalling it. This worked for me. I think you seem to get this issue if you already had the game installed from a previous console on an external drive. Same thing happened with Gears 5.

I am also seeing this and so are several others, so yes, a bug in the game that should get a fix soon.

I'm also getting audio issues in the game and the title screen doesn't show any animation (just blank). This game was ported to the Series X from a developer called Panic Button.

I was expending some glitches, but they should be hot on it.
