    Series X Dashboard/OS Slow After Rest Mode


    I’ve started noticing that the the dashboard becomes really sluggish after the console powers on from rest mode lately forcing me to have to do a full restart to resolve. Is anyone else experiencing this?

    Is everyone's XBox One X so slow and clunky?

    The issue I have experienced is with a laggy UI and slow OS after stand by and instant on. The issue is not a slow games console per se, but I'm very pleased your X is working well for you. :)

    New interface on Xbox1

    Personally I like the new dashboard. Its a bit faster than before. A bit more fluid as well. The dashboard used to be very slow and laggy and it has been getting better over time. Still not perfect but hopefully, they will get there by the time Series
    X comes out.

    I understand you need help with your Xbox problem.

    Have you tried using the console without the internet? Just to check if it has nothing to do with it.

    And also, try resetting the console and deleting everything as a last resort. If you are using an external hard drive, try playing the console without it.

    If none of these will work, there could already be an issue with the Xbox itself and would require a service. You can check warranty and services here:
