    Had it happen to me twice. Working just fine. I go to sleep. Next morning when turning on Xbox the screen stays black. Only the Xbox button on the controller works, but I cannot select any option as the other controller keys/sticks don't work. Turning off and on using button on Series X gets me to the login screen. But I cannot select my profile, as the controller doesn't work. A hard reset fixed it, albeit temporarily. Alpha skip-ahead.

    Series X - Controller doesnt turn console on

    I've noticed that the series X takes longer to respond to the controller. try holding the Home Button for maybe 10-15 seconds.

    I wait for the release but this June update if it comes out it better change the way the Xbox one and Xbox series x dashboard look im sick of it Microsoft was lazy with the Xbox series x making more powerful more security but in the SSD this time which the console is impossible to jailbreak but keeping the same UI dashboard and a redesigned controller of the Xbox one that added a share button is that all they can do for next gen system i have a ps5 and the controller is more advanced with haptic feedback and haptic triggers and a touch screen
