Series X Crashes During Every Game

I did a reset as you described first, then a full wipe, then a offline update (downloaded the update file from microsoft onto a NTFS thumbdrive). Still nothing.

I reinstalled about 12 games. The ONLY game that doesn't crash is Skyrim. Every single other game runs for maybe 30 seconds until it gets to a loading screen....then it either freezes and turns off or freezes and returns to the home screen.

My kids had this same issue when I bought them their Series X, luckily I was able to send theirs in under warranty. My Series X started with the same issue they had the day after the warranty expired. A $300 repair fee on top of the $650 I paid for the console is wild!

I am open to any more suggestions that may help! I don't play games a lot, but my kids live out of state and it is our bonding activity while geographically separated (Even if all I do is lose).

I would like to clarify, by hard reset are you pertaining to powercycling console? If yes, let's proceed with resetting the console and keeping your games and apps.

Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

If that didn't work, resetting the console and removing everything will be the last resort.

No external storage is connected.

Do you have an external hard drive plugged into your console? A corrupted hard drive may cause issues as well.

Also, I apologize for the trouble. I know how important this is, hopefully, we can fix it along the way. I'm in the same situation with my siblings, I am away from them currently but I never let them win. Haha.
