Series X controller no longer vibrating

Your Xbox Series X/S controller should still work normally on Xbox One console.

Make sure to change your vibration settings.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then select Profile & system > Settings.
Select Accessibility > Controller, and then select Vibration settings.
If you have multiple controllers, choose the controller that you want to change and select Configure.
For an Elite Series 2 controller, select the configuration profile that you want to change, select Edit > Vibration, and then move the sliders to adjust the vibration.
For an Xbox Wireless Controller, select Turn on vibration to turn vibration on or off.

I have the Robot White X Series controller, with all firmware updates. I use it on my PC via blutooth. I continue to have this issue as well as long as vibration is enabled. Try turning off vibration (we shouldnt have to) to stop the controller from disconnecting. But when will we have a REAL RESOLUTION MICROSOFT?!?!?!!?

Yeah, that's the ticket, all good now. Can't believe I killed those batteries already. I sure hope MS makes a few tweaks to the dashboard, I mean seriously, a battery indicator, is that too much to ask? Thanks anyway man P.S. I guess that vibration going
away is an indicator of sorts, but who would know that without coming in here to ask.

That's typically an indicator of battery life being low. Can you try repeating the same functions causing vibration with a fresh pair of AA batteries in the controller? If still nothing, you can order a replacement at

Is anyone else having an issue when playing Destiny 2 and using the Xbox Companion app to stream to pc, with regards to the vibrations no longer occurring on the Elite series 2 controller?

I've got a similar issue. I don't stream, i just play D2 on my xbox one and I've noticed that the controller will frequently stop providing vibration feedback while playing, even when the controller is fully charged. Firmware is the latest version, console
is updated, vibration settings are maxed in the controller settings and turned on in game.

Outside of the game, the vibration works as it should 100% of the time so far. But it's inconsistent in-game. It'll just stop providing feedback, usually for hours at a time.
