    Series X COD Cold war crash upon startup


    Hello all,

    I hear people complaining about their series x crashing after a few Cold War matches, but I am in a completely different boat.

    My game brings up the landing screen for a second and then goes into that little "Activision/treyarch" cinamatic.... and then the game freezes and crashes. I cannot get in at all.

    And I tried with both old version and S/X version. I'm shoo annoyed!!! Everything else works great on my series x. (MOdern warfare is acting similarly).

    Anyone else having this issues???

    Hi!

    Maybe you have the Xbox One version of COD Cold War and you see that message because the Xbox One version cannot be upgraded to Xbox Series X. You can find more informations about COD Cold War editions here:

    Modern Warfare 2 Freezing my Series X

    Did it crash on other games or just Cold War? I’ve played Cyberpunk on my Series X and other games just zero multiplayer. Decided to jump back into COD and this started happening. That’s why I thought it was the game possibly but I’ll call support and see what they say. Thank you for your reply.

    I have the same porblem and many other users also. I hope it's only a problem with the game and not with the Xbox. All ohter games mainly Fifa and Forza runs with no problems.

    Yeah, we’re not alone, microsoft are being very quiet on the issue so far and you cant seem to get hold of them online.🙄
