    Series X, bad download speeds if game is in quick resume


    I understand why the Series X throttles download speeds while playing a game but speeds are throtteled even when you go to the dashboard if you have even one game on quick resume.

    The network speed throttle should only activate when your are actively playing a game. The Series X should be smart enough to tell the difference between playing a game and just having a game paused on quick resume.

    Hi, when you open the game in your Series X. The game starts from the quick resume / the quick resume feature is used?
    Or did you open the game from the start?

    I have purchased Street Fighters IV Arcade Edition from Xbox Store from my Xbox Series X Console. After the game downloaded and installed, it was not able to run on console. Their is no error stated when try to run but game do not respond at all when select to play.

    Try to kick the game out from quick resume list and restart the game. The game will not reload dlc if you have the game on quick resume.

    Yeah it doesn't always work. Thankfully games already load fast. I'm sure it will get better.

    Remember though, it only works on games that are installed internally or on an Expansion card. USB external drives can't use it.
