Series X audio dropping after playing games

So ive been having this problem for about 2 weeks. If im playing a game and attempt to transition to any other game or app the Xbox audio just stops working. It will allow me to play the same game again and the audio works. Even when closing the game and coming back to the same title it seems to work just fine. I have checked my cables and connections as well as my audio settings. Im completely stumped on what is happening here.

Just to cover everything from your side, did you tried factory resetting your Samsung smart TV?
If yes and the issue persists, hopefully everything will be sorted out the next month.

Thanks for you reply. I appreciate you taking the time. I have actually tried everything. Seems like it will just stop after I minimize the game. as I understand from another thread this seems to be an issue with compatibility with Samsung smart TV's and the newest update they have released. I have also been told Microsoft is aware of the problem and is working on a fix but it could take up to t month to be rolled out.

Im starting to suspect this is an issue with Samsung smart TV's. I have zero understanding as to why but im noticing a trend here among other users with the same problem.

Same issues here. After playing a game I will lose audio on Home Screen and apps, only allowing audio through games. Also have had an issue with the opposite, where games have no audio and Home Screen/apps only work. Also have a Samsung smart TV, hopefully they fix this soon, tried everything. Seems to work only again after shutting everything down for 12+ hrs, just to go mute after playing a game again. Unplugged my TV for a couple mins and it seems to be working again, likely is a problem with the TVs.

May I know if you tried power cycling your console?
1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
2. Unplug the console's power cable from the console and from the power outlet. Wait 5 minutes.
Important: Be sure to wait at least 5 minutes. This step resets the power supply.
3. Plug the console power cable back in.
4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

Or changing the HDMI audio output, for example if you are using 5.1, change it to stereo and try with each one to see how it goes
