    Series X and AC Valhalla


    Hi.

    I have been playing AC Valhalla on Series X and Samsung Q95T. I had initially turned HDR off to start with as like many people on the Ubisoft forums found it to be very grey and washed out with it enabled.
    I was recently experimenting with the HDR calibration tool and following a guide from HDTV test on YouTube and have noticed something odd with the image after pressing the Xbox guide button. When Game Mode is enabled pressing the guide button then closing
    it causes the screen to go black then when it comes back the image on screen is dimmed to the point that the game is almost unplayable. Switching Game Mode off and back on restores the image as long as the guide is closed. Trying to do this when the guide
    is open causes the TV to say no signal being received.

    Has anyone else had this issue?

    Does anyone know if this is an Xbox issue, TV issue, game issue or something else entirely?

    I have tried the same steps when playing Gears 5 and do not get any of these issues so would think it is the game but Ubisoft support are terrible.

    Yes AC Valhalla will be on Series X too and will use Smart Delivery (Buy it on Xbox 1 and you will get the Series X version Free )

    I'm pretty certain that Xbox will release the Xbox Series X with AC Valhalla on it since their release dates are both during holidays.

    just to clarify, if i have the physical copy of AC valhalla downloaded on my xbox one, the digital one will be able to download on Series X? assuming that its the same as the One.

    Xbox Series X - All Xbox One games stutter while Assassin's Creed Valhalla (which is optimised) is just running amazing

    It is a software and game developer issue though like AC Valhalla was stuttering like crazy at launch on the Xbox Series X for example. Something really only Xbox and game developers may fix.
