Series X accessories not showing paddle mapping

Based on the description you posted, it seems that you have an issue with Xbox wherein you are only seeing an outline of the paddles below and the controllers are not accessible. Also the back paddles do not show up as options to configure.



Let’s work together in finding the best solution to this issue.

• What is the make and model of your controller?

• If possible, kindly please provide a screenshot of the problem. In order for us to fully isolate your concern.

I had a similar problem last night. I was trying to set up another profile and wanted to map the bumpers to the paddles underneath. The paddles were not showing up as an option to map towards.

Any help with the paddles or triggers would be appreciated.

It is.

Map it through your Accessories app. You can create a different profile for each map.

You can't map two buttons to one paddle, though.

Does no one read the instructions for these things?

Thank you for reaching out to us about your issue!

The Xbox Accessories app will allow you to map one of your paddles to the right thumbstick button and map the right thumbstick button to nothing. To un-map the right thumbstick button, you will have to map the paddle to the button first then remap the right thumbstick button to the "Unmapped" option.
