    As the title suggests, i was playing overwatch 2 when suddenly my console turned off. I turned it back on again, but when i did it sorta reset everything – as in, i had to put my personal info and settings all over again. By proxy, i also had to put my wi-fi settings again. Once that was done, i hopped back to overwatch and my latency was horrible. I did test other games and to nobody's surprise they were all lagging a lot.

    So after researching for a while, i came to all the "advanced settings" jazz, and even after putting the advised DNS, QoS and clearing the MAC, i was still stuck with bad connection.

    I tried all troubleshooting measures i could; did a ppwer suplly reset, reset the router, the console, tried an ethernet cable (wich had minimal improvement), tried most variations on the advanced settings but absolutely nothing got my connection to work as well as before.

    I'm not tech savy, but for the sake of a reference on how bad it is compared to how it was, i usually played OW 2 at around 70-100ms but now it hovers around 150 with spikes that go up to 300ms. And in Destiny 2, i could play 12 player modes with no issues at all, but now i can barely play 3 player activities without getting a connection warning.

    Lastly, me and my cousin were discussing about it and we were wondering if it was some sort of "wifi receptor" that got fried/damaged after the turn off, but not so sure about it.

    This is not helpful because it is the opposite problem. The Xbox turns back ON when you turn it off while still in dev mode. I have the same problem with Xbox Series X.

    Why pro-DRM people will get what they wan't.

    If they suddenly would just turn it back on it would *** a lot of people off. Not to mention destroy what little trust people still have for MS.
