Discus and support Series S shown as Xbox One in my devices in XBoX Accessibility to solve the problem; I have seen others post about this same problem only about the series x so I wanted to bring it to the attention of Microsoft that it is happening to...     Series S shown as Xbox One in my devices


    I have seen others post about this same problem only about the series x so I wanted to bring it to the attention of Microsoft that it is happening to both next gen consoles (S/X)

    If you are unaware what is happening under the device page that shows what devices you have currently linked to your account it is showing an Xbox One instead of the Series S like it should. Even after removing and adding only through the serial number it's still showing as the wrong console. I have tried calling but no-one seems to have any time to look & just assumes I must be looking at or doing something wrong. I would be surprised if Microsoft was even aware of the problem regardless of the numerous others who have posted about the Series X having the same error since the people receiving the complaints don't seem to care so why would they bother passing on the information but who knows.

    This is happening to everyone. Microsoft will be aware of the issue, and should be issuing a fix for it soon.

    Hi,

    Both Series X/S games and Xbox One games that been optimised (I'm British) for Series X/S must be installed on either the internal storage or the expansion card. They can not be run from a USB connected storage device. My optimised Series X/S Xbox One games
    were moved to my Expansion card during their update.

    The Series S and X controllers work on same devices the earlier controller can connect to. This includes:

    Xbox One Game receiver for Windows 10

    Bluetooth (PC, Android, iOS)

    Xbox One, One S, X and Series X/S.
