Series S remote play stops working when running games

Bought a brand new Series S from Walmart just after Starfield came out. Console works fine locally usually but I very rarely use it locally. I bought it because I remote play on my phone around the house and I've had issues with cloud gaming in the past so I wanted an actual console.

As long as I force close everything every time that I remote play to the console I can usually connect with no issues. But if anything is in quick launch then 7/10 times it says that it can't connect.

To get the console to work again I have to go to that room and force close everything or restart the console. Sometimes I can't even restart the console without force closing everything, it just sits there after I hit restart until I force close everything.

Console is connected wired with cat6 cable directly to my Nighthawk RAX42, it's set to a static IP and I've forwarded all the ports that are recommended for the console.

I wanted to ask chat for help but it directed me here. How can I fix this thing? I considered returning it but I didn't have a chance before the return period was up. I never had issues like this with my old Xbox One S. Also no issues with my PS5 either locally or remote or with my GTX based laptop using Moonlight and Sunshine either locally or remote.

I swapped it over to WiFi last night and updated the forwarding to the new static address that I assigned but I haven't had a chance to really test it. I will try it with the WiFi over the weekend and let you know if it has any more issues. If I still have trouble what would my next step be? Setting the Series S as the default DMZ?

You may try to contact the manufacturer of your router and ask them to open these ports:

-Port 88 (UDP)

-Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

-Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

-Port 80 (TCP)

-Port 500 (UDP)

-Port 3544 (UDP)

-Port 4500 (UDP)

Also, you may try to connect the Xbox console via WiFi to see if the issue persist.

Can you please go to the Xbox settings>General>Network Settings> test network speed and statistic.

Please let me know the result of the test so that we can see if you have enough or stable network speed on your Xbox Console.

Is there a way to bump threads on this forum? Sorry to bump this but I'm still having the same issue. As well as random freezes on other games like Minecraft where it just locks up and I have to hit the Xbox button and force close to get it to do anything.
