    Series S Performance Issues

Lately I've noticed that my Xbox has been a little framey, it's not running as smoothly and It's not a real big issue, but it's something I've taken notice upon the multiple games I've played and I'm encountering it a bit more, but I'd like to know how I can get it back to running smoothly.

    :)

    Series S Performance Issues

Hi! My name is Pam. I'm an Independent Advisor and I'll be glad to help you today.

Here are the steps that you can try for your concern.

Solution 1. Power cycle your console

Please Turn off console > (press and hold power button for 10 seconds) unplug everything from the console > wait for 2 minutes and plug everything back > Turn On the console.

Solution 2.Try removing your account and add it back again.

    To remove your account:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > Account > Remove accounts.

Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm.

    To add it again:

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

    Select Sign in.

    Select Add & manage.

    Select Add new.

Enter your Microsoft account email address and password.

Solution 3. Clear your local save games file and persistent storage.

Make sure that there’s no disc in the disc tray.

Scroll left on the Home screen to open the Guide.

    Select Settings > All Settings

    Choose System > Storage.

Now select Clear local saved games.

    Choose Yes to confirm.

    Restart your console

Press the Menu key on your controller.

Click Settings, then go to Disc & Blu-Ray.

    Select Persistent Storage.

    Click Clear Persistent Storage.

Solution 4. Try to do a soft factory reset without removing any games and apps.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Settings > System > Console info > reset then keep my games and apps.

NOTE: This will delete the profiles on your account, make sure that you remember the email and password to your account.

Solution 5. On your Xbox, please go to Settings - tv and display options - set the resolution to 1080 - under Advanced to the right click on video modes - uncheck Allow 4K and HDR10. Then restart your console and launch the game.

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted.

Dying Light 2 only 30 fps on Series S... What a disgrace!

It’s not a matter of the Series S being underpowered, seeing that other games manage to get good performance, it’s the simple case of the game not being optimized properly. The series S can run this game at 1080p ( dynamic resolution) and 60fps.

Even the performance mode on Series X is only 1080p 60fps which speaks for itself, and that is the most powerful system. It’s not a question of the series S being underpowered but the game not properly optimized. Tons of other games get great performance on the S

Unable to purchase Hogwarts Legacy for Xbox series S

Hello BradB_82. My name is Jose.

Hogwarts Legacy cannot be purchased for Xbox Series S. The game is only available for Xbox Series X and Xbox One.

According to a press release from Avalanche Software, the game's developer, Hogwarts Legacy could not be released for Xbox Series S due to performance limitations. The Xbox Series S has a weaker GPU than the Xbox Series X, which could have caused performance issues with a game as ambitious as Hogwarts Legacy.

The Xbox Series S has a weaker GPU than the Xbox Series X. This could have caused performance issues with a game as ambitious as Hogwarts Legacy.

Here are some reasons why Hogwarts Legacy cannot be purchased for Xbox Series S:

Hogwarts Legacy is an open world game with a huge world to explore. This requires a powerful GPU to generate high-quality graphics.

Hogwarts Legacy has a complex combat system that requires a powerful GPU to run smoothly.
