Series S Issue with controllers (right toggle)

-My right toggle stopped working in the middle of a game, in the configure accessories test it reads the toggle moving, however outside of the testing it does not move at all, Ive tried multiple controllers and both have the same right toggle 0 action, Im assuming its the console XBOX Series S and Elite Controllers.

"1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Unplug your console for 5 minutes.

3. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console."

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

Thank you so much for the detailed information and for testing it all out. I have here steps that we can try, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

"1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. "

If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

"Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps."

I did a full reset of the console and there is still 0 action on menus an in games with both Elite Series controllers Ive tried. Both controllers register input in test screen as well.

Normally when this issue happens, its the controller. So usually its suggested you try a different controller which youve already done. Although, I do think its possible that it could be that BOTH your controllers have the same problem so, if its possible,
you might want to try a THIRD controller...maybe borrowed or something. Next up is looking more at the console itself or the game itself. If your having the same issues with other games, it points more towards your console. If it doesnt happen with other games,
it points more towards the game. So after you check that, youll know better where to go from there. If its looking like its the console, you might want to look into getting it repaired. If its the game...i dont think that it would be the DISC itself but more
some kind of glitch. I wouldnt suggest replacing the disc or anything...you COULD try that but it might cost something which would really suck if you got it home and it still was doing it. So...if its the game, id suggest going to the developer website and
reporting the issue to them and see what they say. It might be something they already know about and are working on fixing it. I hope this helps and you get it sorted out soon. Cheers!

Hi SpeedstrX!

It may be an issue of the microphone being disabled.

Try these steps to check and see if it is enabled:

Tap the Xbox Button on your controller
Go down to the Audio button at the botton-right corner of the navigation panel.
Make sure the 'Headset Mic' toggle is set to 'On'.

If you don't see the toggle, then it's an issue with the headset's connection to the controller.
