Series S froze on main menu and xbox won't stay turned off.

I have a 1 yr old Series S, it froze on the homescreen and none of the controller buttons do anything. I can turn it off with the power button on the Xbox but it randomly turns itself back on like 5 seconds later.

Hi Gabe, my name is Jhon, and will be a pleasure help you

Based on the information you've provided, the issue is likely due to a software issue with your Xbox Series S console.

The fact that the console freezes in the main menu suggests that there is a problem with the software that the console is running. The fact that the console randomly turns back on suggests that there is an issue with the console firmware.

To fix this issue, you can try the following:

*Reboot the console in safe mode. Safe mode is a diagnostic mode that allows you to run the console with a limited set of functions. This can help you identify and fix software problems. To restart your console in safe mode, follow these steps:

-Press and hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds.
-When the console turns off, press and release the disc eject button again.
-Press and hold the power button on the console.
-When you see the Xbox logo, release the power button.
-Follow the on-screen instructions to restart the console in safe mode.

If restarting your console in safe mode doesn't resolve the issue, you can try the following:

*Update the console firmware. Microsoft regularly releases firmware updates for Xbox consoles. These updates may include bug fixes that may resolve issues like the one you're experiencing. To check if updates are available, follow these steps:

-Go to Settings > System > Updates and downloads.
    -Select "Check for updates".
-If updates are available, follow the on-screen instructions to install them.

If updating the console firmware does not resolve the issue, you can try the following:

*Reset the console to factory settings. This will erase all data on your console, so be sure to back up your data before performing this step. To reset your console to factory settings, follow these steps:

-Go to Settings > System > Console information.
    -Select "Reset console".
-Select "Reset and keep my games and apps."
-Follow the on-screen instructions to reset the console.

Hi there! I'm more than happy to help you! I'm sorry you are experiencing this with your Xbox Series S console. No worries, let me help you sort this out. Based on the description you provided, there could be an issue with the internal power supply. I would highly suggest you check your free warranty repair options for your console by signing your account and registering the console serial number using the link below: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/warranty-service/getting-your-product-serviced Thank you for your kindness and understanding! Did you not read any of my post? I just said I replaced the power supply, the power supply wasn't the problem. If my console was still in warranty I'd have done that first.

    TITAN FALL NOT WORKING

Uninstalled and reinstalled, turned off and unplugged the xbox, and titanfall still won't get past the main load screen. Stays there for about 10 seconds, then back to the xbox one home screen.
