Series S - Cannot Set It Up - Codes Don't Match

Hello, I was looking for this issue in this community and anywhere in the Internet, I can't find a solution, so I hope it's not a duplicate topic.

I can't go pass the setup of a newly bought Series S. According to the manual, I have plugged it into the TV and electricity, downloaded mobile app, started the device and try to retype the 10-letter code from the TV screen into the app. The mobile app keeps
to ask me to check the code, althought it's retyped correctly. I've tried to reboot the TV, Xbox, mobile phone, still the same.

After typing the code, the TV shortly shows "Connected", but then it comes back.

Any thoughts anyone?

Solved by installing without mobile app - I had to synchronize the controller right away and do it by it.

unlike movies, games do not come with digital copies. The series S has no disc drive, therefore cannot use a disk

you would have to return the game and put the money toward a purchase of digital code for the series S

I'm guessing you are talking about disks

No disk don't show up as ready to install as they aren't digital

You pop in the disk and install while connected to the live

That being said you cannot install disk games onto the series s

You need the disk version of the series x

My son set up his V-bucks on his Xbox S series, but he listed it as an Xbox1. When I go to the second step with a code for Microsoft, it keeps spinning and won’t connect so I thought maybe it was because it’s not set up to the correct Xbox

basically as you are on the series s then all the games will auto to series s version if available, you cannot change this.
