Series 2 Elite Controller Issue. Curious if anyone else has had a similar experience.

I got my first Series 2 Elite Controller on Monday (11/4) and was super excited to start using it as I used the first one a lot. I had to replace the first series controller multiple times because the rubber grips on the back of the
controller would fall apart and could not be replaced. The Series 2 gave me hope that I wouldn't have to deal with replacing my controller anymore but it came with its own issue day 1.

The Issue: I play games like Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2 which are both button mashers when it comes to the "A" button. With the first Series 2 controller, I noticed immediately that the controller required a little
more force to press the "A" button more than the other face buttons and spamming it would occasionally cause it to make a rather loud "click" noise. After some play sessions with it, I noticed the "A" button would get stuck. This happened a few more times
and I got fed up and returned it and asked for a replacement. I get the second Series 2 controller and immediately realize it's having the exact same issue as the previous controller. The "A" button requires more force than the other face buttons and occasionally
gets stuck or just doesn't respond at all.

Did I just get really unlucky or are you guys having similar experiences? I'd like to know! Thank you for reading.

I have both of the elite controllers. I never ran into that issue. I did have that issue with a couple of my design lab custom controllers.

I now also have not one but TWO of these Series 2 controllers and BOTH are 100% perfect thank God. But I started out with one of the first Series 2 with issues but returned it to Target for exchange and never had ANY issues at all since. I game 12+ hours
per day since I retired so if I were going to have ANY issues they would have shown up long ago now I hope

I actually think I was TRYING to get mine to fail while I had the 30 day return option so I could stop the worry but just no way I could make these new one do a single thing wrong. Odd how much I LOVE this new series.

Seems like a lot of mixed results for issues people are having but makes me seriously leary about buying anything other than a standard controller.
