Serie x sound while reading discs

That only happens when the console is on the vertical position.

If you are installing games when the console is somewhat noisy while reading the disc, that is most likely normal. If while watching a Blu-ray movie or even a DVD movie you also get that noise, or if it is sounds very mechanical, then I'd recommend you to get your console serviced. You'd need to open this website (https://support.microsoft.com/devices), select your Xbox console, and follow the onscreen steps to complete your service order request.

I see. Have you tried to set the console to a horizontal position (while it is off!) and then vertical again, to check if there's any difference between both positions?

It make the sound only when is in vertical position, horizontal there is no sound
