    Sent Xbox for service repair with a game stuck inside... Game didn't return back.


    Hello, as the title states, on 11/17 I sent my Xbox One in for repairs as the disk drive was stuck and not ejecting the disk inside, or reading the disk. I explained in the request that my disk was stuck inside and that I needed the disk back.

    I received a new Xbox without the Game disk that was stuck inside. I cannot find a way to request a call back as my issue isn't represented in any drop down menus. Game cost me $60. Just need a human being to help me with this issue. Anyone have suggestions?

    You should most definitely contact the place where you sent your console for repair and ask why they didn't return the disc that was stuck in it, using your original repair reference number etc they should send it back to you. Specially if it was sent for
    a warranty repair at microsoft itself.

    It might be that your console wasn't repaired and they sent you out a replacement console.

    Very sorry to hear this. Definitely contact Support again and hopefully you will have better luck with someone who is responsive. They should have sent the game back to you, in my opinion. If games are taken out of broken Xbox's sent in for repair, and
    then just 'disappear' and are not returned with the console, then Microsoft has to do better. Nobody can argue that this is a shady business practice. There is no reason for it not to be returned with the console, unless it was repaired by a dishonest employee.
    Definitely contact Support and I would not stop contact with them until it was resolved. Best of luck!

    Unfortunately I think unless you still have a receipt or proof of purchase, as well as proof that you sent the game in and didn't receive it back there's really nothing Xbox support can do.

    unfortunately you are told when sending off for repair to send only the xbox on its own. i dont think you will get anywhere with this although it wasn't your fault and i totally understand your frustration, if anyone can help it would be support, from the
    forums we cant do anything as we are just gamers like you.

    You should never leave a disc in the xbox when it's being transported, and when you send it for repair you are told more than once to remove any discs and accessories that arent supposed to be going with it.

    Best thing you can do is get back in touch with that specialist and dont leave chat
