Sent Online Gift Copy to Incorrect Email Address

My case remains unresolved as of now (though I feel as though I'm on the right track), but for brevity, I'll share what I've found. Having searched through dozens of threads, help & support bots and documents, for hours - relying on these was specious at best. But, ultimately, I was lead to the following website to request a refund, and am awaiting a reply - which can take up to 72 hours.

You can follow the instructions in that thread to request a refund and then re-gift it to the proper email address.

Alternatively, the code should show in your transaction history at http://account.microsoft.com and you can pass it on to them.

1) The instructions in that thread were to fill out a form through a link - which has since been 404'd.

2) Your alternate was a great lead to go on, however the Minecraft redemption site for the code I've purchased says it was invalid, or already redeemed. Which is great for them, but terrible for me. Please advise.

I can confirm that the incorrect email is nowhere on my profile/settings. via web or xbox

support has confirmed that as well, but my information is still sent out to this incorrect address.

You can always send him an copy of the email with a schedule email from your personal email
