Sent defect Xbox controller but received a USB back

I did return the defective replacement, sent it back the same day I received it.

Some one did reach out to me by email today, waiting on hearing back from them. However this still persists to be an infuriating struggle to have Xbox replace a defective controller that was sent to replace the first defective controller!

So we will see what comes from this email thread. Not going to hold my breath though!

I agree I have sent in 6 day one controllers only to be sent out poor quality replacements. The controllers I received had loose joy sticks, loose bumpers, broken triggers, controllers not turning on/disconnecting from console, the list goes on and on, I
now have another controller they sent me that was good and not even a day of moderate use that too is defective. I have a ps4 and am now considering selling my xbox one console for good.

will if u haven't sent back the original and still have both defective console, don't expect a replacement any time soon. Unfortunately you should have sent the original back because Microsoft wasn't able to reorder me another one even though the advance
exchange unit was also defective until they receive my original console back and close the first service order. Sorry, wish i had better news for you.

Got mine in July15, 1TB unit. Worked fine for about 2.5 months, then controller started disconnecting, never before that. Disconnects when USB connected as well. Tried everything, including new controller, 5 different USB cables, bought a rechargable
pack, etc. Nothing helps. Wireless connections for controllers stopped working altogether. Sent console back for repair. Came back with no indication that a problem was found. Wireless controllers would connect, but still randomly disconnect, same with
USB, no rhyme or reason, sometimes unusable, sometimes hours without a disconnect. Sending it back again but using the "advanced replacement" so I get a new console. To me this smells like a design defect since others seem to have no problem whatsoever.
Given that its both USB and wireless, the common point of logic is the USB hub in the XBOX One, so thats my guess. Crossing my fingers that the next one works. It will be my last one way or another.
