    Selling XBOX 360, what happen with the buying downloadable games


    Hi,

    I would like to know what happen with the downloadable game i buy on the Microsoft store.

    I want to sell my xbox 360 for a xbox one, but it's not all of my game are compatible with the xbox one.

    Can i sell the game like a media, or if i sell the xbox, does the game stay in the console ? if i do a factory reset ?

    The game is linked to your gamertag, not the console. You should absolutely do a factory reset on the console and make sure the drive is wiped and gamertag removed.

    If the game is not currently available on the backwards compatibility list then just keep an eye out to see if it comes up in a future update.

    Download or Disc? Which one will you do?

    If it's a AAA title I'll buy digital, other than that it will be a disc so I can sell it later on.

    Pro- I have two 360's now, one for my kids and one for myself and I sometimes buy the digital. With the Digital downloads on 360 I will buy the game on my kids Xbox 1st logged in as myself on their 360. Download and get it installed, at that point the
    game can be played offine and doesn't matter who logs in to play it on the Kids 360.

    Then go back to my 360 and do a Re-Download on my mine. I did Halo4 like that and other games. So I have 2 installs of the Game on different 360's and I can play with my kids online if I wish. Otherwise with disc I would have to buy two copies or share
    one disk :(

    If you have 2 consoles, Digital is the way to go..

    Con - I can't sell it. I've bought a ton of XLA games, I can't sell that. But we've all bought apps on phones and tablets, same idea you can't sell it.

    Either it happens now or later, it will happen.

    I wish they would put a CD- Changer on the XBOX....

    Midnight Club Los Angeles is no longer available to buy as a digital only download. It's still BC but to play it you will need to buy the Xbox 360 disc.

    Its licences have expired. When this happens (and this is very common with car and sports games) Microsoft can no longer sell the game on the Store.

    360 Games for gold free to download when your forced to hand over credit card details. We have buy a xbox 360 just to download free games nd what happens when they close down xbox 360 servers it will happen, then what MS goes on and lie saying 4 free games
    a month when you can only get 2.

    MS need to get there head from up there **** and fix it
