Selling xbox 360 and disc based games for another console

Christmas is coming. I want an xbox one. I will sell my xbox 360S 250 GB , 23 based dicsc game titles that includes the latest battlefield and call of duty titles. 4-6 xbox controllers (5 wireless, 1 wired) and corded charger, plus 200-250$ from the help
of my parents. Do you think this will be enough for a xbox one without a kinect and bundle? Cant wait to get one!

IceStorm- Thanks for the tip on the MS extended warranty. I didn't even consider MS selling an extended warranty. As for the disc drive I always download the disc to the hard drive. I've been an Xbox 360 owner for at least four years and if I buy another
Xbox 360 I'll be on my forth!

There is the halo 5 guardians xbox one bundle

Do you have issues with other disc based games? Try using the disc based game in another console (of a friend or relative perhaps)

Yeah the whole 360 library wouldn't be free. What this backwards compatibility essentially is, is to make sure digital games and disc based 360 games work on the Xbox One by using emulation. You would need to install your 360 disc games as well.

But yeah, this is why I keep all of my games and never trade them in or sell them off.

hello i have xbox 360 and where i have it i havent got internet... i have installed my games but they wont play without disc and i dont know why but i want to play them without discs...

For disc based games, the Internet connection doesn't matter.

However, if you installed the games from disc, the disc is needed as a proof of purchase. Otherwise you could install the game from disc and sell the disc to someone else.

That other person then installs the game from disc, and sells the disc again to another person.

And in the end thousands of people can play the game, from only one sold disc, if you were able to play installed games without a disc.

If you want to be able to play games without a disc and without internet, you will have to buy the games digitally, and download them on the console you wish to use without internet immediately after purchase.

Or if you downloaded the games to a different console first, you will have to do a "License Transfer", with an internet connection, and re-download your games you wish to use offline.

After the license transfer, you can use the installed download games without internet.

But for disc based games, you will always need the disc in the drive.
