Automatic Renewal for Gold Membership

Alright, well last year i purchased over the xbox marketplace a 25% off -12month subscription for Gold. My question would be if i leave the automatic renewal go through to the given date, will it renew at at that same price (25% off -12month Gold) or will
it be renewed at 12 month regular xbox live marketplace price at the time?

Why does MS allow retailers to devalue their console?

MS encourages it. Why would they discourage a retailer selling a console for them that then leads to a customer buying a subscription to Xbox Live Gold?

I think you'd better try to request for a refund, or take some loss to request for other trade off from Microsoft. If you really prefer taking chance reselling it, better do it through other website......

The $1 Xbox Live Gold offer was only made available to new subscriptions from members on Silver Xbox Live subscriptions for the first month only. After the first month, the subscription will renew at the regular price of Xbox Live Gold.

Xbox Live Gold subscriptions after the first month are not free and also need to be payed for at the regular retail price. If you want to keep your Xbox Live Gold subscription, you will need to pay for it at the full regular retail price.

The Xbox Live Gold subscription is the same for all Xbox consoles. There is no separate Live membership for the Xbox 360. If you get a Gold membership subscription, it'll work on the Xbox 360, the Xbox One and the upcoming Xbox Series X.

Since I don't know in which country you live, you need to go to https://www.xbox.com/live/gold and check the price for the subscription yourself.

Be aware, that getting a yearly subscription will drastically reduce the price compared to a monthly subscription. For example, if you're in the US, a yearly subscription costs about US$60, while a three month subscription costs about US$25 (meaning 100US$
for a year), or a monthly subscription coming up to 120US$ a year.
