Selection boxes on pc

Is a Windows Media Center PC a selectable option as a set top box?

So no one has had this issue or knows what should be done, canceled sub until this is resolved

do what i said in the other forum, just fixed it again this way and the game is now starting, it must replace this file each update which is annoying

open C:\Windows\System32 folder
search for bcryptPrimitives.dll
right click file and select security tab
select advanced
select change next to owner
select advanced then select find now
search for your user id in the list and select it
the click ok, then ok and close the properties box.

go back into the advanced section of the security tab again
then select add, same again find your user id and select it and click ok, tick all the boxes and then ok out of the the dialogue boxes
restart pc and then try

just found the fix. In bluetooth settings, find the 'more bluetooth options' button. click that, and in that section select the tick box for 'allow bluetooth devices to find this pc' . Basically before the pc wasnt looking for the controller, what you
need is for the pc to be found by the controller

I have the same receiver and I used the optical out of the Xbox One to the STR-DG510 and it works. I have a Windows Media Center PC connected to the HDMI in on the XBOX One. To get 5.1 from the WMC PC or your cable/ Satellite set top box use the following::

From Home, say “Xbox, go to Settings” or select the Settings tile from My games & apps.

Select TV & OneGuide.

Select Troubleshooting.

Select the Surround Sound (BETA) option.

It worked for me although the Xbox One has trouble changing channels on WMC PC as it can't change the channel to say "9.1" it tries but just puts in 9 and the channel change fails. A cable or Sat box should work fine.
