could’ve been explained better on the website, it’s not completely clear that you need to match 3 of the same prizes in order to win. There seems to be some misunderstanding on how the whole Rewards system works.

I think there’s some confusion here.

To win a prize from the Microsoft Rewards ‘Select 3’ game, you need to match the prize 3 times - just like a typical scratch card. You can also only win one prize per game played.

As stated in the official rules of the rewards game:

You will earn one (1) Game Play after successfully

redeeming your points. You will then be presented with

an online probability game where you will be asked to

select only THREE (3) of NINE (9) icons by clicking on

them, and then confirm your selections to proceed.

All three (3) icons selected will reveal possible prizes or

awards of points. If all three (3) icons you selected reveal

identical prizes/points, you are eligible to receive the

prize/points shown.

Also keep in mind the actual odds of winning a prize. This is mentioned for each prize with the number available, in the official rules and terms and conditions on the page I’ve linked above.

In the unlikely event you do happen to match 3 prizes and it incorrectly states you didn’t win, then screenshot the error, note the time and date with any other relevant details and contact Microsoft Rewards Support. Make sure to attach all this information in the report and refer to the order number of the game played - this can be found in your order history and the confirmation receipt you’re emailed. Support are the only ones who would be able to investigate any errors and if needed, reward you the correct prize or refund your points to your account.
