Check your Language and Locale settings, if the Locale is set to a non-English speaking country the game will more than likely play in that language.

Locale will only change the local console settings not the nationally supported language of your region

Regardless of what your locale is set to your live account and marketplace content has to match each other you cannot get English content menus while in a non English region

Locale only affects offline content

It is a bug. It took me some time to figure out but if you are using your regional settings that are different than English, this happens. Please switch your lang-locale settings to English. Requires rebooting your phone but works.

Not really, of course I could set French in the Xbox locales settings, but then everything would be in French, which I don't want either.

Even temporarily, changing the locales requires a reboot of the console, so: changing the locale to French, rebooting, using Microsoft Rewards, changing the locales back to English, rebooting again... err... no, thank you

What I'd like to know is if there is a way to have Microsoft Rewards in English like all the other apps and games, or an option to use French instead of Dutch?

For what I've searched so far, the answer seems to be no. But I'm still hoping to get help here.

Yep it goes by the supported language of the region of the account

The only way to get English in a non English region would be to buy a out of region disk

However even if you change to the US games like ghosts is region locked digitally some games like dishonored will not work out of region

This is due to content and distribution rights

The reason for localization is easy games are published for the nationally supported language so there is no issues with wrong purchases and content laws are different for every region
