Seeing what seems like lower FPS in menus since last beta ring update

That seems to be a known issue of last update, in the next should be fixed. Im under beta preview ring and now its fixed, so should be on the next public update.

so how the program works is that by joining a higher up ring you get access to updates before the lower down rings and due to skip ahead being a new ring it is a limited number ring like all alpha but you will have to rejoin beta ring if you do leave alpha
skip ahead ring. you do not drop to your previous ring.

Ring 4 is the lowest of the levels and gets the update just before general release. It goes from Alpha > Beta > Ring 3 > Ring 4. Ring 3 does has different tiers also (I am in the lower).

If you've joined the insider ring and it hasn't appeared to have updated yet there are a few things that could be possible...

The first is that it occasionally takes up to 24hrs for some things in the Insider Program to process if it doesn't happen instantly. The second is that there could not be a preview ring right now and the public version is updated to the beta version. The
last and most likely thing could be that you may need to jumpstart the update/transition yourself. This can be achieved by uninstalling and reinstalling Minecraft.

If you have for a fact joined the Insider ring for the Minecraft beta and nothing has happened you most likely need to wait and keep checking it to see if anything changes. it would also help to put your console on the "always updated/background update"
mode. That way it will for a fact always be updated in the future when it needs to be.

Instead of leaving the Xbox Insider program as one Ambassador has suggested you can drop down to a lower ring which receives much fewer updates. For example if you are in Beta ring drop down to Delta or Omega. The Omega ring receives the fewest updates,
usually just before it is released to the general public. This can be managed using the Xbox Insider Hub on your console.
