    Security System is Flawed


    Hi! Ive noticed something that is really stupid. I requested to update my security, but no longer have access to the recovery phone number. Which means I cant update the information, which means I cant sign into my account. So how do I fix this, cause
    its really stupid. How do I add another recovery path without being able to update my security information.

    Security System is Flawed

    The best advice I can give is to give Xbox (800) 469-9269 in the US. They'll have other ways to verify you and can get you back into the account to update your security settings and add secondary methods. My personal favorite is using two-factor authentication
    with the Authy app, which can be added to multiple devices at a time so you never lose access to your token like other 2FA apps.

    Most Updates are important, they fix bugs and security flaws, so it's important to have your system up to date.

    Security Flaw?

    Yes a new account which I created assuming I could get xbox live support. Through the console I tried to assign my gamer profile a new email address but cannot since I can't remember the password to the existing address it has on file. I haven't used it
    since 2002 when I signed up. Aside from that I'm logged in and posting under another userid which I cannot change, I'd be mad seeing threads under my id which I didn't create.

    Just goto the profile you want to sign in everytime and click sign in then repeat the proccess for autosign in

    Or you can have no autosign in and select a profile each time to sign in
