    My Microsoft account was locked about 4 weeks ago due to "security reasons" and I appealed on the same day and there have been no responses or updates. I am confused because I only used the microsoft account to play minecraft.

    I understand that you already made the appeal, however, filling out an account recovery form is the best method to recover your account.

    Try and see if you can remember additional information regarding your account when filling out the form. One new additional information might be the only thing the Account Recovery Team might need to recover your account successfully.

    The form you providfed was the 'appeal' that I already made. It states within the post "Microsoft will review your answers and respond within 24 hours". Well the application was 3 weeks ago so I don't really know what's going on.

    Hi there Tawny,

    Thanks for the reply. I'm sorry to hear about the error message. If you tried to log in or refresh the account credentials on various devices, this will enable the security feature and lock the account. Unfortunately, you will have to wait 72 hours to sign
    into the account due to being locked.

    • Do you have the 2-step verification enabled on the account?

    Has any1 had any experience with teir 3? How long does it take for them to reply? And how long to resolve the case?

    Been 5 days so far. Xbox is a joke. They haven't even locked my account yet, the guy is on my account playing my fking games still. If I had a credit card on it try would have bought a bunch of stuff(luckily I didnt) sent me a email saying they take security
    s3riously and that they where going to lock my account but they haven't and they haven't even replied to me. *** xbox
