  1. Secure boot enabled in BIOS but shown disabled in secure boot status.

I'm currently trying to play a game which requires secure boot. It crashes after 2 minutes into the game. I was unaware of what is secure boot even.

    [Lenovo LOQ 15IRX9]

I opened my BIOS settings, security, enabled secure boot, saved and exit the BIOS settings.

After my system started, I checked it's status via WIN+R > msinfo32. It shows- Secure boot status: Off.

I really don't know about fixing this thing. Please help.

**move from Windows / Windows 11 / Settings**

    :)

Secure boot enabled in BIOS but shown disabled in secure boot status.

    Hello, Udayan Khosla

    Welcome to the Microsoft community.

Thank you for your feedback. You also need to disable CSM if it's BIOS-enabled again, and make sure that boot is configured for UEFI and not Legacy.

Once converted, configure the following motherboard options as follows:

    Boot Mode: UEFI

    Secure Boot: Enabled

    Fast Boot: Enabled

    Boot CSM: Disabled

TPM: Firmware TPM (fTPM, Intel PTT)

Also make sure the boot disk is formatted as MBR, otherwise you will need to convert it to GPT and then disable CSM for it to work.

In the case of changing from MBR to GPT, this is mandatory for UEFI (and therefore secure boot).

Note: When changing these settings, an error may occur and you will have to reinstall Windows, so please back up your data.

These are one of the features that must be reinstalled when you change it. When you disable the CSM on the motherboard, Windows will not boot and must be formatted.

If you choose to format, be sure to disable CSM before installing the new copy of Windows.

Hope you're doing great today Ahmed

If your laptop doesn’t support secure boot unfortunately there is no way to bypass or enable this feature if you can see the option in the BIOS
If you need to access to the BIOS check this article

    USB Ports Not Working Suddenly

It appears as the USB driver is disabled in the boot sector (or like the bios in a PC). May have to do a offline reset where you need to get a good working copy of the operating system and start fresh.

If that Fails, it may look like you need to take it in for repair, where the techs look into the boot sector and enable the USB in the bios area.

I do wish we could access that. Solves a lot of boot issues.
