Secret Neighbor game pass

I have a problem with Secret Neighbor, i start it, xbox pop menu comes up, i press lets play and then i get an authentication error. its the only game that does that,

things ive done:

Uninstalled the game like 4 times

Uninstalled the app reinstalled it

Removed my account readded it

Set outbound rule for the game in the firewall

It works on my xbox no problems, i even have it on steam again with no problems.

Ive sent 2 emails to tinybuild, posted on their disscord channel, and even messaged some on the people that work at tinybuild and never got an answer.

Does any one know what else i should do?

ive done all of that. i emailed them like a week ago and never got a reply.

Check Windows Update for updates for Windows, update everything including optional updates, install Java and try again.

If it doesn't work, contact the developer. On this link, you can open a ticket with them.

Since you already tried to troubleshoot the issue, I will list below some other fixes that might help. Please give it a try and let us know the results!

Restart your device and the network hardware: Restart your computer as well as your router and then retry the downloading process.

Update your PC version: Check for any updates on your Windows firmware version as it can be outdated and should be updated to the latest patch to run the game properly. Sometimes, Windows security patch updates can also ruin the game files for some reason which can be fixed by uninstalling the recently installed updates manually from the ‘Windows Updates’ option.

Try a wired connection: Maybe the problem is appearing from your internet connection. If you’re running a wireless connection (Wi-Fi) then make sure to try using a wired network (ethernet cable) for a stable and faster connection.

Clear cache and data: Try clearing unnecessary background running tasks on the PC that should help a lot. Head over to the Task Manager and close the higher CPU/Memory consuming tasks one by one from the ‘Processes’ section.

Also, please let us know if you are running into error codes/ messages when trying to launch the game.
