    I'm posting here on behalf of my son. I have spent most of today trying to sort this issue.

    The xbix works fine without the seagate at the moment which is great.

    But as we purchased I would like to know why its messed up or at least if anyone has figured out how to fix it.

    @frozen a dilemma is where you have to make a decision which neither option appeals to you. So it is nopt a dilemma, its a choice, you fail.

    It is a seagate drive, you would have to contact Seagate for a replacement cable. Xbox branding is just a marketing partnership
