seagate game drive light out on front

sometimes the drive just gives out it happens. If the drive does not work at all I would recommend getting another external drive or a hub . The games are on the cloud so in that insance it should be fine. When you look at the storage does it show the
games etc at all. Sometimes the light just burns out and it still works however this might not be the case.

Thanks for getting back to me. I think you are right that the drive is broken. I have been using it for about 8 months without problems. I have tried all the suggestions i have received but nothing has worked. I tried a different drive and it registered
as being on the xbox. So i think i sm going to accept its death. 🙁

It depends on how the HDD was formatted. If it's used for multimedia support, you can use the HDD for viewing movies or photos on the console, while for the installation of games it will be necessary to format it in NTFS directly from the console or PC.
