    SEAGATE 4 Terabyte not recognized on Xbox one or pc


    I got my seagate about a month ago and the only issue I had at the time was a ringinvite it would make when using games on the external drive. Then yesterday I turned my Xbox off and on a little after, back on and the drive wasn’t recognized. I tried every
    troubleshooting option with no luck. And when I connected it to my pc it wasn’t detected for a minute or so and then it said the device was unrecognizable. So now I’m not down a 4 Terabyte hardrive with all it’s saved data and I’ll need to get a new one amen
    reinstall over 220 games. Any ideas on how to save my save data or games so I don’t have to get a new one.

    Hard drive to hard drive game copy

    I have an Xbox one x, a 4 Terabyte Seagate, 2 T Seagate and a 4 Terabyte WD. My problem is I cannot transfer or copy Ark the base game anywhere or in any combination of the hard drives. I can copy or transfer Scorched Earth or aberration dlc's but not the
    base game. I have tried hard resetting the console and unplugging the hard drives multiple times. Does anyone else have this issue?

    New external hard drive recognized for media - won't format for games and apps.

    A lot of people have been having issues with Seagate drives being recognized. Please try formatting the drive on your pc and then try it on the console again.

    Let me help you on Amazon a 12 terabyte seagate internal HDD is 279 for a PC, while also on Amazon a 1 terabyte seagate “memory card” is 200 for the Xbox series S/X. Now that I’ve done your research for you still think it’s a fair price? Or let me put it into a better point a 1 terabyte seagate HDD for a PC on Amazon is at most 80 bucks.

    Maybe the Externa Storage isn't in correct usb port, you try in other usb port?

    Thanks for your post. I understand you are experiencing issues with your hard drive randomly disconnecting from your Xbox One console. Have you attempted to use another USB cable for your hard drive? There is a chance that the cable you are using is no longer
    working. Also, try to listen out for clicking noises coming from your hard drive as this could be an indicator of a failing drive.

    Could could try a other USB port on the console. If it works on a other port then there is a falut with that port and the console would need too be serviced by microsoft if you wanted it fixed.

    It could also be the cable itsself so try a other cable just make sure its a USB 3.0 cable otherwise it wont work for games and apps on xbox one.
