Sea of Thieves won't launch since yesterday's update

Discus and support Sea of Thieves won't launch since yesterday's update in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; I've been trying to play SoT since last evening and it will not launch.     Sea of Thieves won't launch since yesterday's update


    I've been trying to play SoT since last evening and it will not launch. It says "We’re updating Sea of Thieves. It should be ready to use again shortly." in a pop-up on my Win 10 PC. I think my son was having problems with it on his XBOX360

    How do I find out the status of the game?

    Are they down? Is it a bug? Should I try to reinstall?

    I've not ran into this before but this is the only game I play so far.

    You can check here to see if there are any problems with the xbox servers: https://beta.support.xbox.com/xbox-live-status Right now it seems like everything is
    good, so I would consider trying to start it up again. Otherwise, try reinstalling the game to see if that works.

    Sea of thieves has an issue since yesterday. All kind of problems. Be patient or contact supoort. My best guess.

    Sea of Thieves, played initially at launch but I revisited it and the updates have made it very enjoyable.

    Did Not Receive Sea of Thieves Achievement

    Hi there Chavo3rd, thanks for reaching out to us and we certainly understand the frustration about not seeing an achievement of that stature pop for you.

    The official Sea of Thieves team released a new
    Launch Status Update     yesterday that included new information regarding achievement delays within Sea of Thieves.

    In this case, it does seem like you may be experiencing this delay although it is odd that your friends did not at the same time.

    With that said, the Sea of Thieves team is actively working towards a fix for historically earned achievements in-game so if you did not see one that you feel you should have earned, please stay tuned on that page or
    Sea of Thieves on Twitter. We do appreciate your patience with this and hope you are still able to enjoy the game in the meantime.
