    I have had Sea of Thieves installed on PC before, played it with no problem but a few weeks ago I tried to reinstall it, and I have tried almost everything short of reformatting windows, and it still won't install and gives me the same 0x80242020 error every time and says something along the lines of "there was an error on our side", Please do not tell me to update my windows or reinstall gaming services with PowerShell, I have tried every common and uncommon solution I found after hours on google. Honestly, I am just disgusted that I am able to buy a game, and not only won't it install, there is no direct contact with Microsoft about trying to resolve this issue. I can confidently say I am never using the Microsoft store or Xbox app to purchase a game ever again if this is the sort of experience they provide.

    cant install certain games

    i cant uninstall any games as there are no games installed. and my windows is fully updated.

    edit: yesterday evening i succesfully installed sea of thieves but deleted it because othergames wouldnt install and now sea of thieves wont install either there are still some games in the recently installed tab in the start menu

    Why does the Xbox app insist on installing multiple installations of games on my C drive without my permission?

    Sea of thieves decided to uninstall itself for some reason over night, making it so that I cant play Sea of Thieves today due to the long download time.

    If I buy Sea of Thieves on Steam, can I play with the same account as on the xbox app version? That way I wont need to deal with the Xbox app or its version of Sea of Thieves.

    Forums!

    Sorry for the inconvenience but we are
    currently looking into this situation. There is an on-going outage signing into Xbox Live. Some Customers are experiencing black screen before or after signing in, or issues accessing previously purchased content. There are also reports with Store App failing
    with the error “Something Unexpected happened code: 0x80072F8F”.
    Our Engineering currently working on the fix.

    I was also wondering if this could be the problem with pc. When I went to the website it was saying xbox live status and I didn't know if that also included the Microsoft store.
