    Sea of Thieves won't install with xbox game pass but other games that come with XBGP...


    Every time I try to install SOT it says error and gives me the following error code: 0x803f8001. I can install other games though. I really am trying to get this game for free for a month. Help would be nice, thanks.

    Sorry I didn't specify that I was on PC, I would try and confirm your solution, but I don't have an xbox. Thanks for the reply, though.

    Hi!

    Are you installing the game on console? In this case try to clear the cache by holding the power button for 10 secs and try again. If it doesn't work, try to delete the profile from the console and re-download it again. Let us know!

    Can anyone help me with my xbox app not installing/launching games?

    Also the problem with the game not installing is only for sea of thieves but for other games they get installed but when I launch them it pops up with the error code 0x803f8001 while for sea of thieves it pops up when I try to install the game.
