    I bought this game a year ago and I recently got banned for no reason! Last time I played with my friends just like everyone else we were sailing and doing quests then I quit the game for a while. Like few months. And when I came back it said that I was banned from the game and it didnt tell the reason. Im hoping to get unbanned because I think it was unfair that i got banned for no reason and if I got banned for a good reason it was probably not me!

    I already changed my microsoft password because I got scared and thought someone was using my account and got me banned from the game. I swear I did not do anything that could result getting banned!

    I hope I will get unbanned soon!

    Rare are the developers of Sea of Thieves. If you received an in-game ban, then they have banned you.

    If the suspension is made by microsoft you have to go to enforcement.xbox.com and check if he case is up for an review. If the suspension was made on a single game you have to write the developer. In the this forum we could do nothing to solve this
    issue.

    The same thing happened to me, the rareCSM stated I was “arguing” with him when I simply tried to explain I didn’t believe what I did violated TOS and banned me. Mind you my ticket was a request to have access to pet names after having served a suspension 3 months prior. I got reported once , had no other issues but because a rareCSM is on a crazy power trip I can no longer play a game I have spent a lot of money and time on. Sadly it doesn’t seem there is any recourse you can take either.

    If you have received an in-game ban (as opposed to an Xbox Live ban), then you need to contact the Developer in question as they are the ones who administer in-game bans:
