Sea of Thieves tryout problem

So, i got a code to try out Sea of Thieves for 2 weeks, after i installed it, I started the game. Then i got the notification that i cannot play games due to my privacy settings on my account.

When I wanted to log in into my account to change these settings, I had to update my phone number, since I got a new phone.

Now, I cant access my privacy settings for 1 month because of the recent change in my phone number.

This means during my 2 weeks of tryout, I will not be playing the game because of my privacy settings, which I cannot access due to the recent change in my phone number.

So basically the tryout was for nothing, and I cant access my old phone number anymore.

What now?

Security precautions are there for obvious reasons. There is sensitive and private information linked to Microsoft accounts which in the event of sudden changes in information, there could be someone else (that isn't you) trying to access the account.

Try and talk to a Microsoft Support member to see if they can speed up the process or change your privacy settings. Calling them will prove that it is actually you wanting to make the changes.

That's unfortunate you have come across this issue.

What exactly would you like to be done?

The security and privacy settings are there for a reason. We're just a support forum we can't actually do anything to directly change your account. You should contact Microsoft Support to see if they can change the number instantaneously so you can change
your privacy settings and play your trial.

Your account may of been set up like that,or if the game has multiplayer you will need xbox gold

Idk I thought that maybe you guys had an idea, because from my point of view its a bit ridiculous

After uninstalling and reinstalling Sea of Thieves and the Xbox Game Bar many times, I am able to invite and accept invites on Sea of Thieves Insider through the Game Bar. I am able to send invites from the Game Bar for Sea of Thieves. However, when I receive an invite or try to join in on Sea of Thieves, I still have the same problem. Sea of Thieves and Sea of Thieves Insider are two different builds. There must be a file somewhere on my computer that is not being deleted or uninstalled and it's not allowing me to accept these invites on just Sea of Thieves. I don't know how to find this file.
