Sea of Thieves not letting me change Microsoft accounts (steam)

I used to use an old Microsoft account that my dad owned for games however I do not have access to that account anymore so I made this account. I wanted to play sea of thieves again but it keeps trying to sign me in as the old account and if I hit "sign in with a different Microsoft account" it just puts me back in the same page.

It's important to note that this is a public user-to-user community forum, and none of us here work for Microsoft.

Kindly try to perform the following workarounds:

- Click the Start button from the bottom Left corner of Windows and type Credentials Manager then press Enter.
- Once viewing the Credentials Manager, click the Windows Credentials button.
- Find Entries labelled Xbl_Ticket
- Left click any with 1717113201 in the name and select Remove
- Sign back in to Sea of Thieves

Yes, I can play both Microsoft and non-Microsoft games, but not in the sea of thieves. And maybe it will be important, sea of thieves is installed on Steam

Steam and Microsoft Xbox are 2 different gaming platforms which means the DLC codes you redeem in Microsoft website is only applicable if you purchase and play the game Sea of Thieves in Xbox app.

I'm afraid once the codes are redeemed in Microsoft, it can no longer be changed.

Moving forward, you can redeem the codes directly from the Steam desktop app in order to use the DLC on your Sea of Thieves game in Steam.

I already checked this steps from the first link but i have sea of thieves from microsoft store not from steam and i already reached out sea of thieves support but they send me this same link as u send

Sorry I did not explain myself well.

I was hacked on the microsoft account, microsoft could not recover my account but just stoped it so no one uses it anymore.

I used to play sea of thieves on microsoft, the account was linked to steam but I just had the game on ms

Since I lost the acess to the ms account I bought the sea of thieves in steam because the account was linked and in that case I would get my data of the game back.

But now I openned the game and is asking me to login on the ms account but ai lost it because is in another email, so how can I do that?
