Sea of Thieves no longer owned in Microsoft Store.

Hello, I'm trying to install Sea of Thieves on my computer once again after uninstalling it maybe >a year ago, but when I look at it in the Microsoft Store it shows as if I've never owned it. I know I bought it a long time ago because when I did it, it was to surprise my friends who were playing at the time. When I look at billing/orders it doesn't show up for some reason but all of my ancient coin purchases show. When I log onto my physical Xbox that's logged into the same Microsoft account, I see it there, ready to be downloaded and I don't have the Game Pass.

How could I be able to download it again on my computer?

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

A friendly reminder, all the completed orders on an account is saved to your Order history real time. And for the game license it is saved to your account too.

Please make sure you're signed into the same Microsoft account on your device that you used to buy the game.

And then verify game ownership. Do this on your PC, open the Microsoft Store or the Xbox app and check your library. Look for Sea of Thieves under "Owned Games." You can also check it from here: https://account.microsoft.com>;; Order history.

If the game doesn't appear, it means that it wasn't purchased under this account or you might have bought it on a different account.

If the game shows from your Order history, that means you owned the game on that specific account and all you have to do is to sign in and you should have the option to download/install the game.

Thanks for clarifying! Definitely give xrem's suggestion a shot to see if that helps. Be sure to search for Sea of Thieves in the Microsoft Store app to install. Ensure that you are signed into the Microsoft Store app with the account that owns the Game
Pass. Keep us posted!

I think it is because you are trying to download Sea of thieves instead of the anniversary edition.

Try this:

Open the Microsoft Store(No the gamepass app), then search for Sea of thieves: Anniversary Edition and try to download that.

You may be correct, Krystian. I found a helpful article from Sea of Thieves Support:

"When purchasing Bundles and Ancient Coin packs for Sea of Thieves, it is important that you purchase through the correct store for the platform in which you are playing. Otherwise you may not receive the items in which you have purchased!

So this means that if you are playing on the Steam version of Sea of Thieves, then you must purchase your content through the Steam store. And likewise, if you are using the Microsoft Store or Xbox version of Sea of thieves, then you must purchase your content through the Microsoft Store."

Sea of Thieves, well… I am still trying to convince myself to get back to that game. It's just my crew is no longer available. :-( Is it really possible to play it on my own?
