    Sea of Thieves logging into different account even tough microsoft account is the same


    I orginally played sea of thieves on my laptop and now bought a PC and was hoping to play on there. I have logged into the same microsoft account as on the laptop on my PC but when I boot sea of thieves up, I logs me into a completely new account with zero progression and a different gamer tag. I would like to be able to play on my original account, how do I switch the account so it is same one as the one on my laptop?

    Kindly make sure you’re signed in to the same account on Xbox app and MS store. Please open the Microsoft Store, then click on the profile picture in the top right corner. A pop-up box will appear allowing you to sign out then once signed out, kindly sign in again using the account that has the Sea of thieves. Please check if you’re logged in to the same email.

    How to redeem Microsoft Reward codes in Steam?

    sign into the xbox store with the same microsoft account linked in the game then redeem, they will be added to the account and available next time you launch sea of thieves.

    Wrong. Game pass shares across all accounts as long as they are all part of the Windows family. I have personally used this with sea of thieves the trick is to log into Windows account using her email the log into Windows store using yours the install
    the game on her pc then log out of you account on windows store she then can open the game such as sea of thieves
