Sea of Thieves Launcher Error 0x800704c7

Some weeks ago, Sea of Thieves was updated (I presume the update that introduced EasyAntiCheat) to include a launcher, which resulted in the game no longer working correctly.

Running SoT through the start menu will attempt to run the Microsoft Store Package Dependency Installer with the arguments "/install Microsoft.SeaofThieves_2.128.7221.0_x64_8wekyb3d8bbwe", wherein it will fail as the path "C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.SeaofThieves_2.128 ... 8bbwe\GameLaunchHelper.exe" cannot be accessed, even running with elevated privileges, and despite the program at that path existing. Attempting to run the executables "SeaOfThieves.exe" and "GameLaunchHelper.exe" within the "Sea of Thieves\Content" directory result in the same process, except this time with the launcher displaying: "Something went wrong launcher your game. Error code: (0x800704c7)". Executing the "SoTGame.exe" binary within "Sea of Thieves\Content\Athena\Binaries\WinGDK" results in the game launching normally, however fails to connect as EasyAntiCheat is not initialized.

Reinstalling Windows is not an option. I have reinstalled the game multiple times to no improvement or changes. I have noticed the game version is 2.128.7221.4, not 2.128.7221.0, which is what the Dependency Installer is using.

Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
