Sea of Thieves file location

After uninstalling and reinstalling Sea of Thieves and the Xbox Game Bar many times, I am able to invite and accept invites on Sea of Thieves Insider through the Game Bar. I am able to send invites from the Game Bar for Sea of Thieves. However, when I receive an invite or try to join in on Sea of Thieves, I still have the same problem. Sea of Thieves and Sea of Thieves Insider are two different builds. There must be a file somewhere on my computer that is not being deleted or uninstalled and it's not allowing me to accept these invites on just Sea of Thieves. I don't know how to find this file.

Make sure your computer has the most recent update to date patch from Windows. If not go ahead and update it.

Can you try opening the applications from the root folder. Hit your windows button and type Sea of Thieves and right click it. Click open in file locations and look for the exe file.

They have just rolled out Sea of Thieves on Steam, so they may end up releasing it on PlayStation. You will need to keep an eye on their blog here: Sea of Thieves - News

Since that is the case, the best course of action would be to file a support ticket with Sea of Thieves and provide as much detail as you can along with screenshots or videos that show you do not have either one of these two items in-game.
